This studio tour marks the 22nd consecutive year of Santa Fe Art Colony (SFAC) artists opening their studio’s to the general public for this exclusive event. The colony hosts a dynamic collection of studio’s showing a wide range of styles and mediums. Artists participating include Lillian Abel, Lisa Adams, Julie Arnoff, Matt Aston, Mary Bonic, Sparky Campanella, Chuck Feesago, Casey Figueroa, James Galindo, Jett Jackson, Don Lewis, Gregory Martin, Peggy Nichols, Barney O’Brien, Elena Philips, Mark Romay, Sylvia Tidwell, Carlos Vargas,  Mike Vegas, Tom Villa, Davyd Whaley, Alisa Yang, and Malaika Zweig.

6:00 – 8:00 pm Panel Discussion: To Live, Work, & Show in LA

The panel will address issues and opportunities geared toward the professional artist, such as gallery representation, the importance of art fairs, public art opportunities, non-profit organizations and more.

About Santa Fe Art Colony:

This studio tour marks the 22nd consecutive year of SFAC artists opening their studio’s to the general public for this exclusive event, averaging 2,000 visitors. The colony hosts a dynamic collection of studio’s showing a wide range of styles and mediums.  The complex houses 57 live/work units and Santa Fe residents include Lisa Adams, Jett Jackson, Dane Picard, Annie Buckley, Max King Cap, Chuck Feesago, and many more emerging and established painters, sculptors, photographers and other artists.

The Santa Fe Art Colony was established in 1988 and was previously a mattress and terry-cloth production factory. Throughout the years, organizations such as the Fellows of Contemporary Art, the MOCA Education Program, the LACMA Modern & Contemporary Art Council, and countless other educational groups have visited the studios at SFAC.
